This article shares from the thinking and practice of life; how the Nasa people of northern Cauca in Colombia interpret and walk “Puutx We’wnxi Uma Kiwe”, the communication from mother earth, understood as a spiritual and natural relationship that transmits messages of life and summons all beings, as his sons and daughters to take care of her, defend her and free her. It emphasizes the ancestral forms through which the Nasa people naturally communicate with Mother Earth “Uma Kiwe” and urges us urgently to care for the territory “the great house of all beings”. It is the perspective of space that cannot be considered as a commodity, nor subjected to the economic policies of exploitation and looting for putting life itself at serious risk. Finally, it discusses the articulation experiences that occur between the means, forms and spaces of the own communication, with the tools and techniques of information, as a political strategy of organization and struggle of the indigenous movement, and for the visibility, awareness and mobilization for the care and protection of the territory in a context in which Uma Kiwe, summons us to understand their messages and release them, so that their children live in freedom and dignity.Downloads
