Realidad publishes essays, notes and reviews in Spanish related to the different disciplines of the social sciences and the humanities.
Articles published by Realidad may be subsequently disseminated in any medium, as long as the original publication data is indicated.
The publication of originals is governed by the following rules:

1. Presentation of essays
a. The essay must be original, unpublished and of high academic quality.
b. The essay must be preceded by two summaries of between 100 and 150 words each: the first will be written in Spanish and the second in English. You must also have at least 6 keywords in those two languages
c. The name of the author or authors will be recorded after the title of the same. Next, the name of the university or affiliation institution will be included
d. Words in a language other than that of the text will appear in italics; Likewise, this type of letter will be used to highlight some key word, and when this happens in a textual fragment in italics, it will proceed in the opposite way, i.e., highlighting the key word in normal characters.
e. The figures, illustrations and tables should be numbered with Arabic numerals and with a foot indicating their content; They will be included preferably in the Word document. If not, they will be attached in separate files.
f. The minimum extension for the trials is 35,000 characters and the maximum extension is 75,000. For notes and reviews, the maximum length is 25,000 characters. In the character count, notes are included and exclude blank spaces
1.1 Type and size of letter
The originals will be presented with full justification in Arial font 11 points for the text, the bibliography, the citations and the abstracts or abstracts. The Arial 10 points font is required for notes, overwritten numbers, tables and figures.
a) Sections and subsections
The titles of the sections will be presented in bold, numbered with Arabic numerals, and separated by two lines of the previous text and by a line of the following text. As for the titles of the subsections, they will be written in bold and will be numbered again (eg, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3), and must be separated by a line both of the preceding text and of the subsequent text. The following levels, which should be avoided as much as possible, will also be numbered with Arabic numerals and will be written in a common text (eg, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.1.1., 1.1.1.2.).
b) Bibliographic references
The authors will send their collaborations in the APA bibliographic reference system.
2. Presentation of comments and bibliographic reviews.
Both the comments and the recensions will be governed by the same requirements regarding the type and size of the letter. The minimum length of the comments is 5,000 characters and the maximum length is 25,000. The comments do not require a summary. Book reviews will be headed by the book's technical data sheet (Author or authors, Book title, City, Year, number of pages, ISBN number). They will have a maximum of 12,000 characters. At the end of the review, the name of the author or author of the review and the name of the university or institution of origin will be included.
3. Publication criteria
All submissions will be arbitrated by peers in the systems seen, blind or double blind. No correspondence will be filed for unsolicited work.

Central American Journals Online (CAMJOL) is a member of the Ubiquity Partner Network coordinated by Ubiquity Press. We regularly backup our databases, and we use reliable cloud service providers (Amazon, Google Cloud, Linode) to ensure they are kept securely. Backups are regularly rotated and the old data is permanently deleted. We have a clear internal data handling policy, restricting access to the data and backups to key employees only. In case of a data breach, we will report the breach to the affected users, and to the press/journal contacts within 72 hours.
Personal information is only used to deliver the services provided by the publisher. Personal data is not shared externally except for author names, affiliations, emails, and links to ORCiD and social media accounts (if provided) in published articles and books which are displayed as part of the article/book and shared externally to indexes and databases. If a journal operates under open peer review then the reviewer details are published alongside the reviewer details.
