The reduction of the concept of time to temporality understood as chronological makes it impossible to find the moments of rupture, inflection and splitting in the same layers of time, the change from one time to another time becomes unrecognizable within chronological purity, for that is why in this article we appeal to the recognition of kairological temporality in order to see the great changes of time, as transcendental historical moments, and from the theological-Christian perspective as opportune moments marked by God's design and that must be discerned and responded to properly. Therefore, in this article we will deal with the different temporalities that coexist in history, relying on the explanation of the kairós category used by Juan Hernández Pico to refer to the period of revolutionary struggles experienced in Central America during the 1970s and 1980s.
