Abstract

"Ethnizetion" is a concept that makes it evident the cultural exclusiveness in a historical process. This paper is intended to show that a new universal ethnization of mentality as a part of the fundamental features of the present time, i.e. economical globalization ant the exclusive way of thinking. This phenomenom touches all aspects of human life. The author explores the ways in which the ethnization of mentality impacts on Brazilian culture since the colony. From this cultural perspective, it is possible to look for alternative forms to structure culture.
