Doha Development Agenda

This paper aims to highlight the importance of the Doha Development Agenda of the world's economies, especially Nicaragua. The methodology used was descriptive expository order, detailing in each of the developmental stages of the Doha Round. The Doha Development Agenda was designated as the negotiation of the WTO in 2001, where more than 150 member countries signed the ministerial statement pledging to negotiate a series of issues go global trade by removing barriers such as protectionist practices of incentives and subsidies that developed countries provide to producers of their nations. In recent years, Nicaragua has been one of the countries that has benefited from such negotiations, signing regional free trade agreements bilaterally and allowed it to increase the volume of its exports and go looking for new niches international market.
