Identification of the departments of Nicaragua with health problems

This essay aims to analyze the State of health of the departments of Nicaragua organized by SILAIS, through the estimation of a set of basic health indicators-synthetic indexes. The study is descriptive and transversal. The data were selected virtual room of the PAHO Nicaragua, ENACAL and it survey it continuous households, year 2012. 13 indicators, 11 of health and two socio-economic level is selected. Among the main results is that the Department to prioritize health care is the RAAS, secondly, Nueva Segovia, Rio San Juan and Bilwi. Among the departments that have achieved improvement are, Rivas, Leon, Estelí and Managua.
