Youth between rurality and rural life. San Isidro Libertador and its process of physical-cultural transformation

As target central is raised the analyze the change in the culture of them young that inhabit the context in rurbanisation of the comarca San Isidro Liberator, located in the district III of the municipality of Managua. Quantitative and qualitative methods for the collection and interpretation of data were used. As ethnography, descriptive statistics, and ethnohistory, getting interviews and surveys at 20 young people and adults in the region, during the period from 2015 to 2016 to obtain demographic data and study the perceptions of young people about the way of rural life. As a main result was that the perception of young people has suffered changes, which can be interpreted as a consequence of urban sprawl of the city of Managua to the region, altering the landscape and composition of the region since it is a process of rurbanisation. Despite the changes caused by the rurbanisation, there are sectors within the region that resist these changes, strengthening their territorial identities. This has an effect on young people, since they coexist with these sectors and knowledge about the traditional ways of rural life in the region.
