The linear regression analysis, is a tool that is extremely important in the world of finance, since it allows to carry out projections and forecasts of a dependent variable that is explained by one or more independent variables. The objective of this study was to determine an equation that would allow to estimate the average monthly price of the shares of the company Facebook, Inc., through a simple linear regression model. The betas for the model coefficients were significant for the descent, measured through statistical test both constant t. Likewise, global test of significance of the beta coefficients, determined through statistical test F, this proved to be highly significant, which allowed the validation of the modelDownloads
