Approaching an oedipal story, whether fictional or real, forces us to live an ambivalence, a Freudian psychological struggle between the primitive and unconscious and the rational. This natural dispute, so dichotomous between what is human and inhuman, has been recurrent in different degrees in literature but, in contemporary terms, few narratives manage to masterfully develop it.
