ABSTRACT
Immersing oneself in the poetry of its creator is not easy, especially when he speaks about his poetry. Tarek William Saab explores the influences of his soul, through the memory and recollection of his youth, extracting literary notes dated 1989-2010, which were stored on loose sheets of paper yellowed by time. The poet returns to the rebellion of his youth, when in his solitude he searched for the word and it called to him through the voices of poets, making Saab a bonfire in his soul, as the song "Reflections of My Life" by Marmalade resonates in his mind, giving way to Bob Dylan's "Ballad of a Thin Man."
