Abstract

This poetry selection brings together a group of young voices that not only rehearse the act of writing, but also delve—with evident expressive intensity—into the deepest territories of subjectivity: memory, desire, loss, contemplation, weariness, faith, and the search for a unique way to name that which often seems to resist language. In these poems, words do not appear as mere ornamentation, but as an attempt to order inner chaos and transform experience into image.
