Homoerotism in the poetry of Héctor Avellán

Héctor Avellán is a young poet who emerges from the 90’s generation, and to date he has published three poems: The plums that I kept in the cooler, The Bad Grape and Sweeter than love. The book of King David. In these poems Avellán claims homerotism, which serves as a theme in our work. Based on a selection of texts from these three poems we will undertakethe analysis, relying on symbolic, rhetorical and intertextual elements in order to demonstrate the conflict that Avellán reveals.
