Characterization of the Health System of Honduras.

Abstract

This article describes the current health system and Honduras, in the irst paragraph deals with the demographics of the population, and some basic health indicators mentioned in the second part of the structure of the system is described as being the creation of institutions of coverage, coverage, resources and inancing and recent some conclusions challenges facing the Honduran health system is presented. Objective: characterize the health system of Honduras. Methodology: retrospective descriptive, and qualitative technique: documentary review. This work was done in the city of Tegucigalpa, M.D.C., from April 2016 to Marz 2017, a search for the Updated portals of each institution, as in some medical journals related to the topic information was made.
