Community-acquired methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA-AC) is a virulent and emerging pathogen, affecting subjects without known risk factors. Clinical cases: First case; Male, 17 years old, healthy, history of nail wound on left foot. Starts 15 days later fever, dyspnea and hemoptoic expectoration. Second case; A healthy 26-year-old male with a history of submandibular abscess, which was drained by the Otorhinolaryngology service. One week later, he reported fever, dyspnea, chest pain and hemoptysis sputum. Discussion; Septic embolism occurs with the arrival in the lung of infected products, with microorganisms that are usually bacteria. In severe patients, who require intravenous treatment, the drugs of choice are vancomycin, linezolid, tigecycline or daptomycin.
