Hysterectomy is one of the most commonly performed gynecological surgical procedures in the United States; The hysterectomy of the appendix, introduced in 1989, has become a method of dissemination given its low morbidity and prompt recovery compared to abdominal lahysterectomy. Objective: To characterize the evolution of patients submitted to laparoscopic hysterectomy at hospital centers in the northern Honduras area. Methodology: A descriptive, cross-sectional, multicenter study of the 10-year casuistry in 8 hospitals in the northern area of Honduras, characterizing the evolution of patients undergoing hysterectomy without la- paroscopic oophorectomy. Results: A total of 569 procedures were performed in the study period, 551 cases in patients younger than 50 years, the mean surgical time was 62 minutes, the oscillation oscillated between 50 and 150 ml in 557 patients, mean time of hos- pitalization was 30 hours, the complications observed were bleeding Important in 6 patients, lesion 5 patients and thromboembolism 1 patient. Discussion: The hysterectomy at the centers included in the study was started in 2006; The procedure and the improvement in the results of the evolution of the patients are observed after the training of nursing and medical personnel and protocols for the performance of the procedures.
