Analysis unit: 1) Meeting Supplement, Revista Médica Posgrados de Medicina UNAH, 2012-2014; 2) Third Year residents 2013-2015 cohort, previous verbal informed consent. We registered topic, study site, design, analysis unit, research team, ethical aspects, financing and the relation with FMS UNAH prioritized research lines 2012-2017. Results: From 58 studies identified, 44 (75.9%) corresponded to 2012- 2014. The most frequent topics from 39 (67.2%), obstetrics area: Hypertensive disorders and Postpartum hemorrhages, 4 (10.2%) each; from 18 (31.0%), gynecology area: post-anesthesiology/post-surgical care and Abnormal uterine bleeding, 4 (22.2%) each. Discussion: Research carried out at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Postgraduate program FMS UNAH during 2012-2015 provides results with a very low level of scientific evidence. It is necessary to initiate actions to strengthen the institutional capacity to carry out and use research results. Research will be relevant while it is linked, through priorization, with institutional development and country economic and social development.
