Abstract

Honorable members of the Board of Directors of the Colegio Médico de Honduras, dear colleagues and friends, on behalf of COMENAC, I cordially welcome you to the beautiful city of Santa Rosa de Copán, venue of our LXV National Medical Congress. What does it mean, what is the meaning of organizing a National Medical Congress in our country? The title of the LXV National Medical Congress has many things behind it: it is the effort of a group of dedicated doctors, who try to transmit updated information on medicine; it represents that in 15 months we have dedicated ourselves to organize and deciding what it should contain for the benefit of the attendees. It is a matter of collaborating with the sponsors, who have also found an academic space for interaction with doctors and patients, to allow us the best sources and the contact with the most recognized specialists who dedicate a message, a summary of the of their experience in a short time.
