Abstract

This is a descriptive study about the use of intelligence for police decision making at all levels. Interviews, with users and producers of intelligence to infer deficient aspects and potencial for improvement, were done.
There are importante findings about the current gaps between intelligence production and its use to make decisions. It is concluded making a proposal to improve the building of an own Intelligence model in the National Civil Police.
