Abstract

This paper addresses the issue of police education in Uruguay. Specifically, the notions of teaching are explored through regulations related to education. The selected documents respond to different moments within the development of the institution where they have incorporated concepts and visions that are still used in the pedagogical and didactic dimensions.

Guillermo Andrés Timote Correa, Centro Universitario Regional Este, Universidad de la República, República Oriental del Uruguay

Magister en Enseñanza Universitaria CSE-FHCE, 2015. Su tesis abordó la temática: “La enseñanza de la formación policial uruguaya. Exploración para la conformación de las investigaciones”. Es Licenciado en Ciencias de la Educación FHCE- UDELAR y actualmente ejerce funciones docentes en la Universidad de la República (Uruguay). Ha participado en las siguientes líneas de investigación y producción científica: 1) 2010-2015 Línea: “Nociones de Enseñanza en la Educación terciaria Pública”, FHCE-UDELAR; 2) 2009-2010 Línea: “Educación Violencia y Juventud”, FHCE-UDELAR; 3) 2006-2008 Línea: “Constitución y reproducción de estereotipos de género en el aula”, FHCE-UDELAR.
