Abstract

A study is presented on the academic training provided by the ANSP in the area of police intelligence, its development until 2016 and the new curriculum that since 2017 was implemented with the aim of correcting some deficiencies and enhancing the experience acquired in the field, for the effects of systematizing new contents and forms of teaching in this subject.

Herard Von Santos Méndez

Capitán ® de la Fuerza Armada de El Salvador; Licenciado en Ciencias Jurídicas; graduado del curso de Contraterrorismo y Coordinación Interinstitucional (Centro Hemisférico de Estudios de Defensa, Estados Unidos de América). Ha sido profesor de Historia Militar, Derecho Penal y Procesal Penal; ha sido asesor de la comisión de Defensa y de Seguridad Pública en la Asamblea Legislativa, y Agente Fiscal Auxiliar. Autor de varios libros y artículos sobre las guerras en Centroamérica.
