The aim of this study was to describe the content and structure of the Social Representations of Peace constructed by teachers in a Colombian public educational institution. Qualitative research was carried out with the participation of 14 teachers. The instruments used for the data collection were the associative chart and the successive choices by blocks. The results show that the content of the Social Representations is constituted by a corpus of 215 words, in which 154 were different and 124 appeared only once, and have been organized in 4 representational groups. The core is structured by the words: justice, coexistence, equity, and tranquility as central elements. Therefore, it can be concluded that the teachers' constructions are located in the theoretical formulation of positive peace.
