Abstract

The author analyses the migratory phenomenon in El Salvador, both internally and externally. It makes a thorough analysis of the causes that forced migration. Moving inland, he notes that these migrations were linked to the regional specialization of production, and with regard to emigration abroad, he notes the importance of the armed conflict in the 1980s.
