Abstract

With these reflections we want to open a space to think about history, today. Starting from the different conceptions of history in classical antiquity and then discussing whether history is a science or an art, we end by reflecting on its ultimate meaning. The final remarks are addressed to the protagonists of history: the men and women of all times.
