Abstract

This work is an investigation from oral sources, and inquiry about education in Santa Tecla, in the 1930s. From a picture of Santa Tecla in those years, presents some oral testimonies on the subject, highlighting some features: compulsory education, girls’ participation, government concern for food and safety, and punishment labor output.
