Abstract

In this paper we try to show two things: first, that the concept of tercera fuerza (third force) is a key analitic term ibn Ignacio Ellacuría’s philosophy, not because of its profile of third way, but as a concrete expression of Main Subject in history. Second, we try to show the profile this Main Subject as third force, read as expression in diverse historical moments, according the analysis of I. Ellacuría, showing the link this profile has and the profile of philosophy of liberation.

Luis Antonio Monterrosa, Don Bosco University

With a degree in philosophy and a master's in theology, he writes a doctoral thesis on "Philosophy and Christian Inspiration in Ignatius Ellacuria”. Professor of the Department of Sociology and Political Science of the José Simeón Central American University White hair; Professor of the Master's program in Public Policies for the Prevention of Violence at Don Bosco University.
