Peace and justice in the Medellín Document

This article is stopped in the analysis of two ideas that the author considers of paramount importance in the document Medellin: the ideas of peace and justice. Correspond to paragraphs 1 and 2 of the document, which, precisely, those names. The writing emphasis two ideas that are considered fundamental: that peace is, above all, the work of Justice, and therefore may not exist the first without the existence prior existence of the second; and the idea that peace is a permanent construction. The Medellin document established an intimate union between the two as a necessary condition for human social life.
