This article analyses the validity of Karl Marx's thought for the problems of the contemporary world. The author starts with the inconsistencies of the single thought reflected on the process of the economic globalization. Also, this article discusses the problem of the criticisms on capitalism from Marx's categories of alienation. The article is divided in two parts: the first part presents the crisis of Marxism and Marx's possibilities in an alienated world. Then, the second part analyses the Marxism we need and the crisis of Socialism to Socialism for the crisis.
