Abstract

This work analyses the validity of Karl Marx’s thought for the problems of the contemporary world. The author starts from the inconsistency of single thought, reflected in the process of globalization, approaching the critique of capitalism from Marx’s categories of alienation. This work will be presented in two major instalments: the first part will deal with The Crisis of Marxism and the Possibilities of Marx in an Alienated World. Then in the second part, Marxism We Need and from the Crisis of Socialism to Socialism for Crisis will be analyzed.
