Abstract

This paper analyzes the thinking of Peruvian José Carlos Mariátegui expressed in five fundamental pillars: The Problem of the Indian as a National Problem, The Need for Creative Socialism, The Importance of the Contemporary Scene, Americanism as Identity Process, and Culture and Politics as Avant-garde References. In this second installment, the author delves into the other four fundamental axes of Mariátegui’s thought.
