Abstract

Indian law governed the social life of the Spanish colonies of America. From her deep humanism, tried to correct the inequalities of the system, favouring situation of the Indians. In this context, here are some of the elements which one of the spaces reserved for the participation of the Indians in the colonial scheme: the system of consignments.
