Abstract

Privatization processes in the country have been justified on the grounds that they are necessary to achieve economic and social development. Private Banks have not played such a role; on the contrary, their decisions are deepening underdevelopment. This article seeks to reflect on this situation and proposes the need to reconfigure the current model of national banking.
