Abstract

This article analyzes the main characteristics of the Salvadoran capitalist model. For the author, it is clear that neither deregulation, privatization, nor dollarization have made possible an improvement in the lives of Salvadorans. Faced with this situation, the author proposes an alternative model, to the primary export model. Such a model must make the most of our resources and increase wages.
