Abstract

In this article, the Zapatista movement is evaluated after 20 years from its beginning, starting from the multiple and deep impacts of persistent existence. Here, the rapid spread is highlighted, the proposals are put together and the demands of the anti-systemic movements and the redefinition of the actors, demands, objectives, and strategies of those movements are reformulated. After 20 years, the Zapatismo holds demands that the experience through those years has matured and molded, transforming them into well-reasoned proposals that can be implemented.
