Abstract

This article focuses on philosopher Emmanuel Levinas’ ethical topics developed in his work Totality and Infinity. The Other is the natural and rational way of transcending the Self, and the only instance for human fulfillment. Thus, the preference for the Other can lay the foundations for a better world.
