REGIONAL INTEGRATION PROCESSES DURING AND POST PANDEMIC: REFLECTIONS ON SICA, MERCOSUR AND THE EU

Abstract

Approximately and without exhaustiveness, the normative and institutional instruments adopted by the Central American countries that make up SICA, the European Union and MERCOSUR are explained, for the adoption of decisions, in the key of regional integration, referring to containment measures on the risks and other problems that have arisen in the context of the COVID19 pandemic. On these decisions, which are materialized in normative legal reports, reflections are raised regarding the opportunities and challenges that the Central American Integration System has in this situation and once the global contagion is controlled and / or prevented.
