Abstract

To compare the growth of shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei under two culture conditions: one in direct seeding and the other in phases (Greenhouse, pre-breeding). Materials and methods. To determine which treatment was better, physical-chemical factors (Dissolved Oxygen, Temperature) and population parameters (Accumulated Growth, Survival and Feed Conversion Factor) were taken. Obtaining these data in a period of 25 days where the Litopenaeus vannamei shrimp had an initial weight of 0.53 gr in both treatments. Results. According to the results obtained in the experiment, the direct seeding treatment had 2.45 gr of final growth and the phased seeding treatment reached a final growth of 2.66 gr. Conclution. The treatment by phases gained a little more size and biomass than in those of direct seeding, when applying the statistical analyzes it was found that p>0.05, which indicates that there is no significant difference between repetitions of both treatments.
