The workplace is one of the most prone to conflicts of different kinds, but rarely is there a good mediation strategy to solve them, which is why they tend to escalate to higher levels of conflict, generating unsatisfactory consequences. Therefore, it is important to have a good knowledge of the mediation process, which, implemented in a voluntary, ethical and professional manner, should lead to solutions that benefit or satisfy the parties involved, whether they are disputes between co-workers, with bosses, clients, suppliers or other entities with which they are related. It should be noted that the satisfaction or benefit is not only limited to a good resolution of the conflict, but also to the optimization of time and money savings compared to the judicial procedure. Likewise, it significantly improves business competitiveness and the work environment; activities flow properly and a culture of conflict resolution is created through assertive dialogue.
