Abstract

The initiative fer this investigation emanates from the need of a base study of communitary ecoturism that describes the. richness in natural resources and scenery of three communities of the Mayangna Sauni as territory. The study will also be useful to protect those resources whose ancestral guardians have been the mayangna inhabitants of this territory. This investigation was also carried out with the purpose of providing the territorial authorities and communal leaders with information that will allow them to materialize an idea of ecoturistic development. This is so because in the study are identified specific sites Jn three communities (Musawas, Wilu and Panyawas) of the Mayangna Sauni as territory where ecoturistic activities can be carried out.
