Abstract

Stimulation in early childhood is a natural process which is put into practice in the daily relationship with the child.
Through this, they will use the most of their intellectual, physical and emotional capacities, exercising greater control of the world that surrounds them.
The purpose of the research was to identify the knowledge, educational and cultural characteristics that parents have in terms of early stimulation, related to the practice they perform in their homes.
For that, interviews were administered with open and closed questions, taking into account the variables: knowledge, early stimulation, neuronal development, educational and cultural factors and the applicability of early stimulation.
It was observed, analyzed and reflected systematically that the parents and / or caregivers are not clear about the terms of early stimulation; however, from an empirical perspective, they apply some stimulation techniques in children.
In addition, depending on the educational development, there is a weakness in the search for information about early stimulation, paid to cultural aspects that are owned.
