Abstract

The researches about Latin America done in USSR presented much importance for the soviet academy. Since the beginnings of the 1920 decade to ends of Second World War and the beginning of the cold war, those researches began to be more frequent in the universities of those countries. The Cuban revolution marked a key point in retaking those researches. After the fall of the Soviet Union in the recent founded Russian Federation its institute about Latin America were known as Latin Americanist which were seen in a strategic way since the geopolitical vision, and taking into account the arrival of Putin as the prime minister and the progressing governments in the region.
