Abstract

Teachers’ job is an important element in the teaching-learning process to keep students’ motivation at school. This implies that teachers need to look for methodological strategies, didactic resources and use the technology in class. The outcomes of this research reflect the reality in the city of Santa Ana, specifically in basic education and how teachers do their work in the classroom. Data from different methodologies was also gathered: from traditionalist, i.e., where the teachers develop an expository class, group and individual work to the execution of simple experiments. All of the above are reflected in the planning of the class, as well as the support tools for teacher and the didactic materials.
