Abstract

Science, technology and innovation (CTI) is an essential tool in the economic, social and cultural development of States, especially those in the developing world. The main objective of this document is to analyze science, technology, innovation in Latin America regarding on this, the emergence of policies in CTI in the region detected, and the data regarding the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) that each State invests, as well as, the number of researchers with which this geographical area has.
