Abstract

From the political science it is usual to consider pluralism as a mechanism for analysis and not as an ideological paradigm. This article aims to provide greater significance to pluralism in order to place it as an alternative to the predominant liberal model. The actual heterogeneous and diverse societies, interconnected and porous, force to consider pluralism as an alternative o as a complementary option to the current prevailing (neo)liberal model.
