Abstract

One of the main obstacles to the fulfillment of one of the great steps in the recognition of the human rights of the LGBT community in Nicaragua, is the alliance between the government in power and the Catholic church, as this political agreement has been relegating the recognition of LGBT families, excluding them with its traditional definition and leaving them without protection in all its terms. Argentina gave a lesson of plural democracy to all Latin American states and we can find in its case fundamental keys to learn and to turn our states more humanistic.
