Abstract

The fundamental right to oblivion is a new right that arises as a negative consequence of the development of the technology. Therefore, the right to oblivion is aimed to prevent and counteract the damage that generates the considerable amount of harmful personal information posted on the network. In this article, the author analyzes in a deep and wide manner the different effects and limitations of this right and concludes by outlining proposals regarding it.
