Abstract

When the human rights solicitor makes the decision to make this appointment, it is not done discreetly or privately as usual when solicitors are appointed, but is made in a public way, as publicly as possible. It wanted to impact society.

Author Biography

Samira Montiel, Attorney General's Office for the Defense of Human Rights.

Lawyer and teacher in anthropology at the National Autonomous University of Nicaragua (UNAN-Managua). Activist and leader of LGTBI organizations for twenty years. Since 30 November 2009, she has been a special prosecutor for the sexual diversity of the Office for the Defence of Human Rights.
