Asamblea General ONU

The General Assembly, established in 1945 under the Charter of the United Nations, occupies a central place, as it is the principal organ of deliberation, policy-making and representation of the United Nations. The General Assembly is composed of the 193 Members of the United Nations and provides a unique forum for multilateral deliberations on the full range of international issues covered by the Charter. It also played an important role in the standard-setting process and in the codification of international law.
