Abstract

This paper aims to address the current situation of indigenous peoples in Argentina, starting from the analysis of the normative changes that have affected them since the democratic recovery, and with the objective of understanding the impacts achieved in their living conditions. To that end, it will address the legal framework in force in Argentina, review reports from human rights organizations that reflect the state in which indigenous peoples live in Argentina, and attempt to analyze why there is a gap between the rights consecrated in favor of Indigenous peoples and the real implementation of them.
