Abstract

The Argentine Government intends to enforce a labor law reform that adds to a package of reforms including changes in the political, economic, tax and social security order in the year 2018. This paper will review the socio-political context in which announces the amendment and reported its contents, reflecting on how the amendment of labour legislation can impact on social order. Finally, the role of trade unions is analyzed before the Government-sponsored policy changes.
