Abstract

This organization is widely recognized for its historic work on behalf of the workers of the textile maquila. Sandra defines herself as a woman of "strong" temperament and "synthesizes herself in that her whole life has been a life of struggle." Known early in her family as "the revolt," her impetus led her to join the liberation struggle against the Soochistic dictatorship. In the revolutionary stage he held various positions in organized trade unionism and the state.

Sandra Ramos, Movimiento de mujeres trabajadoras y desempleadas “María Elena Cuadra”

Degree in social sciences from UNAN-Managua. Feminist, women's human rights defender. Executive Director of the Movement of Working and Unemployed Women "Maria Elena Cuadra". She holds an honorary doctorate in humanities from the Paulo Freire University and is an honorary professor at the Polytechnic University of Nicaragua.
